San Francisco, Calif: Lotaris names former VeriSign Sales Executive, Armando Dacal, to head its US subsidiary as General Manager, Americas. With global experience in building multi-million dollar direct and channel sales organizations, Armando brings over a decade of sales and marketing leadership to Lotaris. The former VeriSign/Symantec executive, and most recently Senior Vice President Global Sales and Marketing for Melbourne IT, has spent the last eleven years of his career building high-performing sales organizations across the North American, European, and Asia-Pacific markets.

"Armando is one of the most effective and accomplished sales executives in this space. He is a true global sales leader, not just in building and running global teams, but with experience living and growing business in Europe, Asia, and the United States. He fits the Lotaris environment in an uncanny way. His proven track record for building winning organizations across industries, countries, and cultures will augment our understanding and ability to grow our business in the United States and Latin America, adding a richer and deeper understanding of those markets. And beyond his strong customer-focused perspective and visible reputation for building organizations, he brings to Lotaris a profound knowledge of authentication, identification, and key security issues that are critical to the mobile applications services that we provide today and are building for the future. He is a wonderful human being and we welcome him with wide open arms into the Lotaris family."

Along with Yusuke Kanda, the former CEO of ACCESS Company Europe, who now drives Lotaris' Asia business from our Tokyo office, Armando will form a critical part of our overall leadership, reporting directly to the CEO of Lotaris, Robert Tibbs.

Armando is based out of our our new San Francisco Office, located at 555 California Street, and will work with existing and new partners in Silicon Valley and across the US, as well as spearhead our growth in key developing markets in Central and South America. Armando will also serve as part of the global executive team of Lotaris.
