TODAY LOTARIS® ANNOUNCED THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY COMPANY, LOTARIS K.K., BASED IN TOKYO. Lotaris incorporates a Japanese subsidiary Today Lotaris announced the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary company, Lotaris K.K., based in Tokyo. Following the agreement signed late last year between Lotaris and its Japanese partner company, Access Company Ltd., we are launching our first projects in the Asian region. Lotaris K.K. will be the entity that grows our business in the Asian region. The location of Japan was chosen driven by mainly four factors: (1) the proximity to Access Company, (2) the highly developed state of the Japanese mobile applications market, (3) the available technology resources and mobile expertise, and finally (but not least), (4) the quality of the Japanese operating environment. Lotaris K.K. has located its office in one of the central business districts, Hibiya, and with multi-lingual staff to handle communications. Robert Tibbs, CEO of Lotaris SA, has established a residence in Japan and will be the Responsible Director for the Japanese subsidiary. The other directors of the company include key executives from Lotaris. In announcing the opening, Mr. Tibbs noted that: “Our analysis of global mobile Internet activity puts emerging markets and Asia in the first tier of our marketing and development activity.
