LOTARIS LAUNCHES IN INDIA

02/20/2009

The Indian mobile market is amongst the most compelling in the world, with both enterprise and professionals turning to smartphones for their business requirements at unprecedented rates. The Indian mobile industry is set to have more than 737 million subscribers by 2012, growing at an annual rate of 21%, and Indian mobile services, growing 18% annually, are expected to reach US$ 37 billion in the same period.

A recent visit to India by Lotaris CEO, Robert Tibbs, and VP Technology, David Keast, culminated in an agreement to open an office in India to serve both the local market, as well as to grow into markets in the South Asia region.

The office in India, along with the newly appointed Regional Manager, Mr. Gautham Chitrapu, gives Lotaris™ access to the kind of technology partnerships that will give its clients a clear edge.

It was disclosed that discussions were held with several of the major mobile operators in the market and it is expected that an announcement would be made soon concerning the launch of the first wave of applications in the Indian market delivered and managed by the Lotaris™ platform.

India is a key market for Lotaris™ and the launch of services in the Indian market is a critical growth step for the company.
