Singapore: Lotaris Group CEO Mr. Robert Tibbs today announced the opening of a subsidiary in Singapore, Lotaris Pte. Ltd. "We see huge growth potential in the Asian markets, and many of our key partners are based here", Mr Tibbs said. The Singapore office will focus on our South East Asian and Chinese opportunities, and will join our existing Japanese subsidiary, Lotaris K.K., which focuses on Japan and Korea.
The key Asian markets for Lotaris are Japan, Korea, the Greater China Region and South East Asia. Mr Tibbs stated: "Our growth here is predicated on strategic customer relationships such as original equipment manufacturers of mobile devices, mobile operators and mobile application developments, and on a fundamental commitment to local partnerships and local resources. This requires focus and investment within the region." Mr. Tibbs will build on existing partnerships in the region, such as Access Company in Japan and Korea, and Datuk LIM Chee Wah's VXL Holdings' operating companies: Dataprep in Malaysia and its sister company in China, GWT.
From 2011 onward, Mr. Tibbs, himself, will take direct responsibility for the Asian businesses, with residence in Japan and in Singapore. He will continue to lead the overall organisation from his base in Asia. The Lotaris Group's headquarters will remain in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, which will also continue to be the centre for technology development and operations. Mr. Tibbs concluded that "This is an important milestone, and will result in a significant geographical expansion for the Group." |
