Lotaris started out offering a Purchasing service to maximize conversions across all sales channels, allowing users to trial and purchase exactly what they needed, with the ability to upgrade to additional features, uses or content as and when needed. Purchasing also lowered barriers to entry through subscription models, provided payment methods that made sense within a specific sales channel and geography, and proposed purchases at the appropriate time and in the right context.

 

The Lotaris Behaviour-Based Application Environment recently added further intelligence through its Analytics and Campaigning services, providing software developers and service providers with fine-grained behavioural context and event based intelligence from within applications, and generating automatic campaign actions to respond to behavioural triggers.

 

Purchasing has now become even more intelligent in combination with the Analytics and Campaigning services, driving Purchasing propositions and transactions based on the activities of users within the application, and the anticipated needs of users (dynamically changing over time).

 

Lotaris understands that creating a conducive user environment is good business. Our services provide frictionless purchasing processes to users within a mobile application (in-app purchasing), making it easy for users to buy without leaving the application; and returning them to the exact point within the application so that they can seamlessly continue its use.

 

Recognizing that many mobile applications extend beyond mobile devices into cloud-based services, we now support the same purchasing processes and entitlement management for users at any cloud-based application endpoint.

 

The core technology on which our Lotaris Platform is based, is our highly secure license management system that manages entitlements with enforcement mechanisms on the device and/or in the cloud, which is trusted by one of the largest IT security companies globally.

 

Lotaris Labs, our R&D organization, works closely with the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT) at the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HEIG-VD / HES-SO) in Switzerland with the support of the CTI, the innovation promotion agency of the Swiss Confederation. We have recently extended our collaboration to the National University of Singapore.

 

Developed in Switzerland over the past 3 years and launched early this year on PCI Level 1 compliant infrastructure -- with servers in San Jose and in Hong Kong -- our technology is currently licensed by leading global software development companies and is being distributed in millions of devices globally.
